But also gave out the message pot was wrong. Also they don't play that episode on tv anymore. Or not here at least anyways. Got the episode on my pc hehe

That was a good episode.

Still, though, the family guy anti-pot message was said in a very serious tone, and whether or not they were serious, it hurts the cause.

i love that episode. this was still a funny episode of family guy, but yeah i wish it didnt have the anti-pot message. but oh well. i still love the drug references in FG(the toad episode, when peter takes acid, and when peter takes e).

I bet they were forced to put the anti-pot message up. I can't think of one TV show that marijuana was in where they actually portrayed marijuana as good. Besides like all channels fox has those anti-weed ads on the air. They probably paid them to make pot sound bad. That episode was so awesome though. "Yeah but we had some inspiration back then"

I agree. With everyone.

1.) the anti-stoney message sucked.
2.) the episode was funny as shit.
3.) it's family guy, take it with a grain of salt
4.) even though the message was satyrical (over most people's heads) there was a whole episode of a television show devoted to weed. I'd say that's a step in the right direction.
