A true SOG (Sea of Green) is many plants grown close together. They are grown from clones you don't have the room or time to sex them. They veg for about 3 weeks give or take a few days'. You flower them at about 12" to 14" tall and finish them about 24". You grow single cola plants and are only looking for 3/4 oz to 1.5 ounces per plant.

The idea is to grow 40-120 plants at a time so you get the dry weight at the end.

It takes money to do it right and knowledge of hydroponics to control the environment and grow happy healthy plants fast.

"Screen of Green" ... stretching 1" 'chicken wire' over your plants, to help train them horizontally, for greater yield per Square foot ... as mentioned earlier, LOTS of posts on this, just do a Search ... :smokin:

I tried it once and I didnt find it worth the effort really. You top them till you get a decent amount of tops, then you secure chicken wire or something similar to your pots and then you train them so you get sort of a blanket effect of tops. Its efficient if you have a smaller space but id rather just grow more plants....
