Cartoon Network BUSTED?
ok i read in this months high times that this was the biggest bust in a long time, an UP-Scale manhatten , New York Weed Delivery service that also controlled the cartoon network... does this mean the cartoon network will be taken off tv?

No. Cartoon network is owned and ran by tuner. Like everything else Turner, it's safely tucked into Atlanta. It ain't going anywhere for a while.

FUCK! i wanted to see it gone, that would be the best 4-20 present i could ever hope for... but oh well, as for family guy, that shit comes on fox.... and other places, not to mention torrents and p2p programs, same goes for adult swim, minus coming on other channels...

serriously if you hate it so much, don't watch it. If you've got a decent receiver, you can prolly block the channel out all together. As for me, I'll keep watching my anime and cartoons because I like it.

well, i don't even have cable anymore, it was just i had a friend, that i always loved hanging out with (way better then sitting here) but he was always watching that shit... i can't really bitch to people about what's on their tv, so if it was taken off the air, i wouldn't have to worry about it. my only reasoning for wanting it gone for good.

ahhh, yea that makes sense. I can feel ya on that one. I'm the same way. I know some dudes that everytime we hungout it was allways mtv, or some movie with a rapper in it (they pretty much all suck in my opinion), but it's not my place to say anything. If it's my house we're hanging out at, I allways channell surf till I find something everyone can enjoy. It ususally got left on funniest home videos with the sound turned down.

No, there was a business of drug-pedallers (I think that's how it's spelled) in NYC called Cartoon Network, it has nothing to do with cartoon network, it was just the name. I read the article too, it never said they were in cahoots with the Turner. I guess you don't have to worry about being sued for having the same name when you're, ya know, delivering drugs to people.

yea but it's not the smartest thing to do either, i mean what if cartoon network (the real one) found out about them and decided to sue them, that shit would come to light soon....
