getting rid of smell
Well, we've done just about all of it, lol -- but for a party I'd also recommend incents burning and have oust/febreeze handy as well. I also use scented candles, strong ones like Yankee Candles. Also, a little trick realtors do while showing houses is that they put brown sugar and/or cinnimon in a baking dish and put it in the oven at 350 and then reduce each hour until its at your lowest setting -- your home will smell like your baking cookies/cake. Another trick, which works but wouldn't be good for a party is using a pape towel roll and putting a dryer sheet in the middle and over one end and blowing your smoke into it, although with doing this I'd also recommend at least 1 incent burning....but, like I said this really wouldn't be good for a party type scene. I have been to a party where smoke detectors were set off cause of an abundance of smoke, so I would probably take the batteries out at least till the party is over, just remember to put them back in, lol. Have fun at your party!!! Another option to add to the mix if you wanted, that I just remembred is these things you can buy from any store that you put into your clean air return in your house and when your air/heat runs it puts smell into the house.
