    getting rid of smell

I'm gettin an o and having a party with like 20-30 people in my house. However, I'd love to be able to get rid of the smell. Does anyone have any sort of method they use to kill smell when smoking indoors? Much appreciated.
Also, has anyone had problems with smoke alarms? Should I take out the batteries or what?

while smoking I recommend having a bunch of incence sticks burning. I also recommend using a voporizer or aa bong because thr odor is reduced.

After the party plates with apple slices placed around the room will reduce the lingering smell of smoke

the odor is not reduced at all with a bong. just turns into a different smell
except maybe for the fact that there is no burning end like on a spliff
but then a bowl would work too.
    but otherwise good ideas

as for the ideas, get some febreeze, ozium, or oust, to KILL odors. not jsut air freshener. how long until people of authority are back in the house?

Well, we've done just about all of it, lol -- but for a party I'd also recommend incents burning and have oust/febreeze handy as well. I also use scented candles, strong ones like Yankee Candles. Also, a little trick realtors do while showing houses is that they put brown sugar and/or cinnimon in a baking dish and put it in the oven at 350 and then reduce each hour until its at your lowest setting -- your home will smell like your baking cookies/cake. Another trick, which works but wouldn't be good for a party is using a pape towel roll and putting a dryer sheet in the middle and over one end and blowing your smoke into it, although with doing this I'd also recommend at least 1 incent burning....but, like I said this really wouldn't be good for a party type scene. I have been to a party where smoke detectors were set off cause of an abundance of smoke, so I would probably take the batteries out at least till the party is over, just remember to put them back in, lol. Have fun at your party!!! Another option to add to the mix if you wanted, that I just remembred is these things you can buy from any store that you put into your clean air return in your house and when your air/heat runs it puts smell into the house.

besides the fact that a bong, or even several at a party of that size just isn't practical...unless everyone has their own bowl and knows how to cap. but that doesn't make for a good partying atmosphere...

No problems with smoke alarms really what room you doing it in? anyway here are some tips you could use.

    - air freshener
    - deodorant / anti perspirant spray
    - leave window open either while people are smoking or after they have left
    - incence sticks
    - oust / febreeze
    - scented candles
    - any type of spray you can find just keep spraying until it goes

If you leave the window open afer then the smell should go after a few hours anyway if you got a fan that would be helpful aswell.

How long do you have until they come back?

Just have a window open and buy Oust it's fairly cheap and in 15 minutes the smell is gone. It sounds like your going to be smoking alot though so it may take a while to get rid of the scent. Just spray air freshener with all windows doors closed. Then air out. Repeat as nessacary. Also smoke with the window open.

Axe works really well to. All you have to do is spray alot of it if you need it scentless in a few minutes otherwise just 2 sprays will mask it within 20 minutes or so.
