The advantage using these is I can get it right close to top of plants but will the light be good enough to bloom my plants too or will I need to use hps??Henry56 Reviewed by Henry56 on . I bought a brand new 6 lamp envirolite reflector
200 watts of env light takes what 15 watts. If they were efficent every building would use them.. They use 48 in , full service mag ballast, and 40 watt full service bulbs.
Now think of how many offices there are in the world, and not one uses a envirolite.
A 48 in tube is about 46 in long and just one side surface is 23 sq in and two of them so 46 sq in of surface area direct lighe (forget indirect ligh for easy math)
The 1/2 in dia of a envio would need to be 96 inch long to have the surface area of a simple full service shop light (not watt savor)
PLUS you can buy 48 in bulbs every where, and cool white and warm whites.:smokin:
Please do not tell anybody take a piece of white paper and take a picture of it under your or anybodys bulb ...... It come out light green ,,, where O where did the blue or red go.... l:dance:
Take a look at picture, note ruler, note size, note bulbs. Note fixtures are only 20 years old and still going.
