There are many times and growing styles that you need to limit the height. SOG is one of them and people who grow in closets also need to control the height. LST is just another option for some but not for all. Cropping the plants get bushy and grow out and if you don't have that room they grow into each other and need more light. So if you want to grow only single cola plants in a SOG method. Then it's best to keep it short and in form so you yield 1-1.5 ounces per plant. You grow many, many plants under the same light and the total yield is more as a whole then a single plant.
