Haha, I have a funny DARE story too...

I had DARE in 5th grade, the first class in my school to go through it. My Dad was a cop for our town at that time, so I knew the guy who taught DARE was also the same guy who dressed up as "Captain Crimestopper" in our town (he used to wear a blue leotard with red tights and a cape, used to get hired for birthday parties and public events like parades, he was like a fucking Messiah) so I never took the program seriously. So we sit thru DARE week after week after week, then we had our MUCH anticipated DARE graduation where we would be receiving-- GASP!!!--- the sacred DARE t-shirts. So of course everyone is running around rocking the DARE shirt and getting pics taken with their diplomas, etc... then like, every single kid wore that shirt to school the next day! Come on now! I ended up getting in trouble with the teacher AND Capt. Crimestopper for making fun of the kids who were queer enough to wear it to school the next day and threatened to take mine away. My dad was PISSED!
