Here I am!
Hi! I used to hang out here a few years back, and boy has this place changed! And for the better as far as I can tell
I'm from Iceland, I'm 25 years old and I used to be a part of an activist group here fighting for legalization and all that, but the group fell apart after the people who started it decided to move to another country and quit the battle. So the legalization movement here is kinda dormant at the moment but hopefully we will get it back on track before to long.
I just got a computer at home after a few years of only having a computer access at work (where checking out cannabis sites online is very much frowned upon!) so I think I might start to hang out here again
Peace be with you

Well, the police here (as in most other countries, sadly) seem to put all their effort into busting small time users. The number of those cases have increesed dramatically over the last few years and the police calls it a great result in the "war on drugs." My friend has been busted 3 times in the last 9 months, each time he has had under a gram of stuff on him but now he's probably going to jail for it. Iceland is ruled by a right wing government who's policy on drugs is just "drugs are bad, mkay?" and although a few younger members of the political parties have come out for legalization, the majority does not want to talk about this issue, "it's just bad because it's bad." And that is sad...
