The option has always been that ban's can and have been lifted from time to time here. Most people are banned for a month, week, day or even a year. He pissed me off and I may have over reacted banning him for life.

I'm big enough to listen to others and consider their opinion. That's why we have a community it's larger then a single person so I thought I would ask your opinion.

It's been pointed out that I'm new here, but I think of myself as part of the community and a peer of you all in culture and spirit, so I'm going to throw in my $0.02.

I think it could be a good thing to have the option to appeal and/or review bans after things have settled down. I think that google artist or no, businessman or not, this guy was on top of a lot of answers, and banning someone like him is in a lot of ways punishing everyone. Regardless of the sources of his info and his motivations for being here, we all recognize that he brought a lot of information to the discussions. In that much we've all benefitted from his participation here, and we all lost something when he was banned.

I'd propose that a policy, if needed, be something like:

A) A review of the ban should be the option of either the moderator or the ban-ee after some sort of cooling off period. If a review is deemed appropriate in private discussions between the moderator and the ban-ee then the moderator should summarize to the community and poll, like is happening with this thread.

or

B) An initial ban is always for X amount of time, to be automatically followed by some sort of a review and final decision.

That would give us a chance to decide if we really miss the ban-ee, and give the ban-ee a chance to make a case for returning -- or not.

man wake up, that is the way TC works gives the best advise on how to grow , just to get the people into his little cult. have you read any of his post , stating that his nutes are only being sold in bulk. why not make up a few promotion bottles and send it to the mods? kick his business in the right direction. its just a scam. the mods are doing you a favor and protecting you from this scammer, but you just cant see that. your nose is wide open and your the type that will be hurt in the end.Turtle420 was hurt about the whole thing and the good thing is he didnt have the time to scam him.

Here's the way I see it:::
1st- Chris Seekins = Karmaxul = Sparrow
2nd - Chris Seekins is NOT Trichome Creator/Zero Revolt/Scammer

The problem I see with Chris is, that he was new to the boards... sharing the knowledge... then, accusations came up that he was Trichome... shitty situation... but it could be dealt with.

Apparently, I don't think it "clicked" in Seekins' mind that his online "credibility" accounts to much. A lot, of "much". Because of this, he took the chance to defend himself as "play time". He fucked up.

After that happened, he got even MORE pissed-off because people (we) reacted very negatively to his "game". He should just have stated clearly, and consistently why he isn't Trichome Creator. But because of his back-and-forth, double character posts, he lost credibility.

Now he can't defend himself.

What to do? Ban him? Or give him a chance?

Zandor, thanks for letting us (the community) have a part in this decision. But I must be honest, I still haven't voted.

I think Chris Seekins would be a great addition to this community, but, he has to play it straight. He can't be fucking with us like he did... not here. Not with the high-security risks we take growing our plant. No.

What do I suggest? OPTIONS::: Leave him banned. Don't ban his IP, just his accounts.

You buddy, what you need to do is register yet ANOTHER account, and start posting on this site. Don't give away that you're Seekins. Don't put GorillaGrow in your signature, and don't sign "one love". Don't use your old avatars.

Just, be part of the community. Cooperate. Give out advice.

If you do it right, one year from now, you can "come out of the closet" and anounce to everybody that My4thAccountGrower is really Chris Seekins, and that you've been a very helpfull member for the last year, with no troubles.

If that where the situation, I wouldn't have any trouble with you here.

But again, new account, NO LINKS to Karmaxul... we can't know it's you... and don't go starting some shit.

Other than that, man... what can I say? That's my suggestion. I don't know if you people will like it or diss it.

All the Zero Revolt/TC stuff aside, I can guarantee that Chris Seekins/Kamaxul/Sparrow isn't the real Chris Seekins from Connecticut. Given the nature of the charges being brought against the real Seekins and the very real legal trouble he faces, how stupid could the real Seekins be to brag about harassing the DEA, or call out all kind of supposedly big name people and families in New England, or simply mouth off like an ass and potentially hang himself legally before he goes to trial? No one in their right mind would do that unless, of course, they were an imposter trying impress folks, build the confidence of our community and position themself as something of a hero figure in order to easily scam people.

Again, all of the Trichome Creator/Zero Revolt drama aside. Even if Trichome Creator/Zero Revolt is not Chris Seekins/Kamaxul/Sparrow the fact that Chris Seekins/Kamaxul/Sparrow tried to pass himself off as the real Seekins is in itself extremely fucked up and in my humble oppion should resulted in a ban period.
The fact that someone would maliciously use another person's identity for personal gain regardless of the potential harm that they could cause someone else is inexcuseable.
