I live in the alaska bush, on an island. The bears outnumber the people here, but growing pot is still legal. The town hardware store has a shelf with some shultz' instant plantfood, a weed whacker and a can of sluggo on it. That's the garden department for about 100 miles around. Getting off the island requires a boat or airplane. There's no bridge. So "going to town" is a pilgrimage we do once or twice a year. It takes a full day by ferry to even get to the closest town, and then it's 3 days before there's a ferry home. Sometimes I appear ignorant of simple technologies that the rest of you take for granted, and sometimes I'll write about really bizarre home made solutions to problems that you folks just throw money at. This is why. And it's why after 35 years of indoor/outdoor growing, the rockwool is a new concept for me. Alas, I'll probably never find any to play with. But thanks for the info on where to find it!
