hehe, the stank can be a problem. the filter i originaly made worked fine for about 2 moths, after that, it stopped working, and the filter unit i made is not very sevicable:stoned: , you have two choices, choose a strain that is low odor, one strain i found worked remarkably well , was the bunker bud form kindseed co, the other option is just to build a better carbon filter, there are many options on this site. for now the smell is not bad, so im not concerned.

Potman420, That cabinet is great, Thats the way im goin for sure, they seem to sell for between $50-$70 bucks, plently of room for 4-6 plants and lights and ventilation options are endless. best for me since im moving to a brand new house and cant cut up any closets..
nice clean setup, very stealth if you dont have nosy fuckers messing around in your room. I was going to do a rubbermaid tote setup but its just way too tight.

mr blue: the dementions you have mentioned are fine for a small cab,
Deathshead: my exhaust and intake fans are on the inside of the cab (and they are located in the the back of the cab), on the ouside i have some 7mm thick black carbon filter in the and intake vent, this block all the light from escaping from the vent, and my exhaust is run through a homemade carbon filter unit, no light escapes this cab
on the other note, im sorry i cant answer anymore questions, i ve been very buysy with alot progects lately, and dont go on this site for months at a time simply because i have no time
so unfortunately i have to close this thread
. but i cant seem to do it from my user controls? if a moderator sees this please close it............

by the way, ive recently saved 15 clones from a friend of a friend, who got paranoid and decided to throw out his plants:stoned::stoned: so i rescued em:rasta: all are healthy and have been in flower for 7 days, they are about 5 inches long, i wont top em, just lem em flowere the way they are, they seem indica dominant and have a low oudor hash like smell, 15 plants is overdoing it for this cab, but i thought id try it anyways for the hell of it, i have flowered 9 plants in this cab without topping em, is all about strain selection, and i expect em to be 1.1/2 feet tall at the end of flowering, but since this strain is also unknown, its just speculatrion.
i highly recommend bunker bud, from kind seed co. due to its samll size and decent yield, and most importantly LOW odor!!!
my last grow was with an unknown strain, with some seed i got from local hippy, the strain grew very rapidly and i had to bend and tie the branches at a 90degree angle, so they woudnt go in the lights, it had an extremely skunky smell and my filtration system could not keep up:smokin: thou the yield was respectable, and good quality smoke:thumbsup:
im very surprised at the perfomance of this cab, it has surrpased all my expectations so far, it has given me no trouble in the last year, and works like clock work.

I know this thread has been dead for sometime now but i just stumbled on it. I cant for life of me find a plastic cabinet like the one you used. Anyone have a link of some where in the US that sells this? I have looked on rubbermaid, lowes and home depot but have had no luck so far.
