    Honey Oil

Decided to try Critical Seperation for making honey oil. Got an ounce of midis, not high grade. Filled a metal tube with the bud, and filled it with butane. The resulting liquid is the honey oil. After the butane evaporated, left with about 1 gram of honey oil.

    Good job!

I've gotten as much as 2.5g out of an ounce of midi-to-good good bud using the butane extraction method. 1.5g is more average, assuming you're washing everything out of the donor material. That takes a few hours (all night) and several drips thru the extraction chamber.

    oh -- a suggestion though --

catch the oil in a jar instead of the tin foil or whatever you used there. Less mess and waste and more transportable/storable.

I start by extracting into a 1-pint mason jar and then washing the contents into a 1-oz specimen jar. From there I can dip and smoke, mix with kiff for brick hash or make budder with sanitary ease.

I use a shallow bowl and scrape it out with one of those flexible shaving razor blades and always store it on some sort of glazed surface.
That looks very fluffy and yellow. Mine looks more like actual honey. Its darker, clearer and has no bubbles or froth.

I think the bubbles you're looking at is the butane still boiling off. The white fluffy part is water contamination. It will separate once the whole business settles down.
