Flood + Drain how many times?

Just a quick question. I'm looking to grow 2 plants under a 250w HPS light using flood and drain. I am debatinging whether or not to set up a automatic pump system or just flood and drain manually.

How many times a day do you have to flood and drain for just two plant? Is it easier and best to set up a pump?

I think most ebb and flow growers flood 15 minutes every 2-3 hrs.

If you live in your room you can do this by hand, but if you want any freedom from your room, (and trust me, you eventually will want to get away form in there for awhile),
get a 90-125 gph pump and a good recycling timer. you will be set. hope this helps
