Well, I have never done that, so I don't know for sure.
My opinion is that nitrogen makes plants grow, unless you give them too much; Then that could cause such an imbalance/toxidity of sorts causing the plant to stop growing. I don't know.
what I prefer, is too flush them and go withfull strength solution for bloom which would include very little amounts of nitrogen. I am currently using a variation of the lucas formula...that has kept the height down, Imho. But the buds/topleaves are awesome, frosty to the tips.
Maybe Z or someone more knowlegable in horticulture, will chime in on this.

I read it...I haven't applied the theory yet...However, I have a couple friends trying to make thier own recipe for retail, and they use beer and whiskey and have related to me that all is 'good'.
If you watch the old gardener on sunday AM's..he is always adding alchohol to growing potion's
I learned something else that goes with this query...If you want to use powder nutrients, for hydro or make an applicable spray...Mix with at least 70% alchohol and then water to make a soluble batch for hydro or foliar feeding/spraying
I have more reading to do about this, but it is said that alchohol does allow the plant to fluorish. be careful, whenever mixing chemical's...THEY COULD BLOW UP!

Adding that flavor of some fine aged Kentucky Burbon to my buds would be a really nice touch. Maybe we could call those strains Turkey101, AAReserve, or whatever........LOL Hell, anything is possible, life is all about trial and error.
b0ngerIf you cannot smoke it or eat it, why grow it ?
