Smell Issues - Help Please
Ok, Iâ??ve been planning to grow a little weed in my student digs for a while now, but there is a small problem with my plan â?? the only place I have that is secure and private enough to use as a grow space is my wardrobe, where the plants will be sharing space with my clothes. Iâ??m not really bothered about smell escaping (I can cover it with air freshener, incense or something), but my question is:
Will growing a couple of plants in my cupboard make my clothes constantly stink of weed? If not, is there any way to avoid this, short of removing everything else from the wardrobe?
Any tips for generally keeping the smell down would also be appreciated (my housemates wonâ??t mine, but the randomly visiting landlord will). Iâ??m using Northern Lights seeds BTW.
Thanks in advance.

this may be a little impractical, as it is probably expensive, but i would suggest keeping your clothes in plastic zip-up garment bags (assuming they can be stored safely away from your lights). or for a less expensive alternative, you could go to a dry cleaner and purchase some of those thin plastic garment bags (that don't zip closed).
to answer your question, i do beieve that your clothes would smell if you left them uncovered, especially in a close space with a pungent strain. go for a strain that is recognized as one that does not have an extremely heavy odor.

oh and also...to keep the overall smell down in the room, i have had good luck with a quality negative ion generator (you can buy them at home depot or stores like it). i have had house guests walk into a room many times that had up to 3 flowering plants in the closet, and nothing has ever been said. good luck to you...hope that helps.

If you are just going to grow a few plants. Put an ozonelite in the closest and one in the room. They work great at destroying odor. Make sure to get the full spectrum ones. www.ozonelite.com
