Real Prices?

I recently talked to my friend, who is also my contact. I asked him what 1 oz of some hydroponics would cost, and he said $60 after checking with his source. Can that be right? At the rate schwag goes for by the gram, I would have said 1 oz would run about $90 with a small price drop for quantity. Can quality get any worse than schwag? I would have thought some decent mids or better (what the hydro usually is) would run about $160 for 1 oz.

If I can get 1 oz for as cheap (it seems to me) as $60, should I load up on it? I trust whatever I get will be at least smokable - I have yet to be disappointed with this guy (1/2 schwag from him last week, which ran 40 bucks, was ok stuff).

well, if the guy's cool and he grows it himself, i'd say he's probly just being cool for your buddy and likes him or something. i'd say try a little bit of it and then judge if its worth it.

It all worked out without incident. And I might add, HOLY FUCKING SHIT! This stuff is pungent as hell, and slightly fruity. It is a smooth smoke. Usually 1/2 gram of the schwag around here = moderately baked (some paranoia, disorientation, etc). To my surprise, 4 or 5 hits of this stuff and it was time to kiss the sky. I don't know the genetics, but I was told by my friend it is hydro, and high quality (I don't know if it is hydro, but it sure as hell is dank). Just the smell of it is almost enough to get high. The only thing about it is it was a *little* compressed, but he had it packed tight in a laptop case under his computer, so I think that is why.

As I said earlier, I was expecting $160 or more (I knew $60 sounded way too low) - but it actually was $60. I would say it has to be worth at least $180-$200. Anyway, it was sure as hell a bad-ass deal! I don't know where he gets his stuff (and don't want to), but whoever he's getting it from, its good shit at a damn good price. I'll post some pics as soon as my camera batteries recharge. In the mean time;

Any thoughts on what strain this might be? Slightly fruity, seems a little more indica than sativa, but it doesn't make you want to stare at the wall - there is a little up buzz to it as well as the mild stone. In fact, if there are any seeds (I haven't seen any), it would be worth a grow in my opinion.

Nope. All hydro means is its been grown in hydroponics, its not actually a strain... But dro is normally better quality than anything else..

Imagine hydro White widow, northern lights of jack herer... ahhh!
