Nothing wrong with asking the questions as long as you consider all the facts and not just one persons or governments opinions. Look at all that is preached, sift out the B.S., make up your own mind on what the actual fact is.
One thing, I like lawyers/politicians about as much as I like A.J. or the other shock jocks so I'm kind of a equal opportunity asshole I guess!

what do you think of the patriot act I&II?
Because of my personal beliefs concerning 9-11 and threats that have been made I find it as a necessary evil. When our constitution was written our enemy was a boat ride of over 50 days away. These days we now have missiles that can cover that distance, dirty bombs, etc...

I also feel that my rights haven't been effected one way or the other because of it. I still have all my freedoms that I had before, I don't make calls to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, or any other country that may be on a "list". I don't build bombs or use bombs. I just smoke a lil' weed, ride the scoot, and get a lil' action on the side. Since I'm far from being a "national security threat" I don't think that anything in the Patriot acts are going to adversely affect my way of life. I do fly from time to time and the extra wait in line is kind of a drag but what the hell, it's worth it to me!

Have a good one!
