jersey needs to legalizeThere are 2 bills currently before committee in the New Jersey Senate & Assembly which would protect medical marijuana patients from arrest and prison. In Feb 2006, Senator Scutari (D-Union, Somerset) and Assemblyman Gusciora (D-Mercer) introduced bills S. 88 and A. 933 (http://www.mpp.org/NJ/bill/). However bill S. 2200, a similar bill introduced by the same senator in Jan 2005, died. So who knows what'll happen.

Things us citizens can do would be to send a postcard (http://www.cmmnj.org/postcards.htm) or letter (http://www.mpp.org/NJ/action.html) to state senators, representatives and/or newspapers.

I'd be so happy (and proud) if we joined California and other states in establishing medical marijuana laws to protect patients and doctors.

jersey needs to legalizebecause the government has to control some aspect of life and i think they think if they make osmething "evil" then people will stop using it but thats tottally wrong tell a kid he can do something he will do it tell him not to do the same thing he is more then likely to do so u see all these stupid ass commercials on tv about not smoking drugs or pot can make u do stupid shit i aint done no stupid shit when iwas high so why portray it as something evil they do it to make people scared and the kids see dont do it and they will do it for the fact of if im not allowed to do it it must be fun
