The anniversary of Kurt Cobains death will always hold a special place in my heart (not so much the death, but the date of) because it is the day my hubby and I started dating. I really wasn't into them too much, but it was a huge Buzz the day we started dating, so on our anniversary each year it comes to mind...i guess in our own strange way the anniversary of his death will never be forgotten in our world.

wtf are you spouting off about now?
    it wasnt sexist
i was joking around with bizzle
    just bustin her chops
    whatever dude

but for the record, i own alot of nirvanas stuff... but still i think they, and the beatles, as someone above has mentioned, are grossly overrated. if kurt had gotten off the smack and had time to further develop his talents, maybe he could have been something great. but thats what it is. maybe.

and my siggy shows how weed brings people together.

But anyways, my opinion of Nirvana is that they were overrated. Not saying that they weren't a good band, but I don't think they lived up to the hype.

Alice In Chains is a great fucking band.. I own all the albums, favorite is probably Dirt. I saw Jerry Cantrell in concert a few years back.. he's good, but I miss the AIC.
I would agree. I like them both but I prefer Alice in Chains much more. Nirvana were also talented, but I believe Alice in Chains to be far too underrated when it comes to grunge music.

    Some personal favs:
    Heaven Beside You
    Grind
    Over Now
    Them Bones
    Down in a Hole
    Nutshell

How could anyone say the beatles are overrated? They've released so many records and most of them are high-quality. They were the biggest thing of their time and still are one of the most popular bands today. As for Nirvana they're slightly overrated but nonetheless an amazing band who I still listen to everyday.
