You really need to be asking people in your area. Prices vary around the country and it just ridiculous to compare prices to what people are paying in Canada or the U.K.. Interesting to hear about it, though it just makes me jealous.

Weed in California is pricey. I've lived in quite a few places here in the U.S. and prices here in Cali are more expensive than most. Sure, someone in Alabama might be paying a 1/3rd of what we do for weed but we also pay 3 times as much for a house, car insurance, etc. Fortunately we also tend to get paid more too. It's simple economics.

Anyhow, the going rate up here in San Francisco is $45-60 for an 1/8th depending on how good your connection is. This is for top quality weed like White Widow, Strawberry Cough, Blueberry, etc. Since your paying about the same it sounds about right to me.

winter outside the u.s. where i get 1 0z 4 $20 u.s. (have bought 1lb. 4 $75 cheapest price ever except 4 when my friend found 20 kgs.) live on a weed smugglin hwy. and found 5 kgs. at the dump where it got thrown out by mistake also occasionally find a kg. that dropped off a truck... and have paid as much as $250. per 1/2 oz in the u.s. (got the tourist price) i'm sure the person who hooked me up bought 1oz and took 1/2 but was the best weed of my life (except 4 when last in the dam paid 12 Euros a gram) so was not disapointed in quality...:stoned:

West Virginia here... the prices around here are pretty steep sometimes unless you have an excellent hook-up, which most don't from people I've talked to. Anyways...

1/2 - $145-160
Ounce - $275-350.. prices I've heard of.. I've never bought an ounce though, only half.
