I will be moving into a no-smoking apt. I was wondering if I would be able to smoke in there and hide the smell so when i move out the landlord wont take my security deposit. any ideas?

Buy an Ionic Breeze by Sharper Image. I have a friend who has one & you cant tell he smokes at all. Maybe that will work for you.

Smoke out the window. I know weed is strong but eventually it'll blend in the air and they wont know where it's coming from if they can still smell it .

When you move out?? what do you mean, i smoke in my room and unless its really strong you cant even smell it the day after but the smell definately never lasts longer then 2days.

Also when you are smoking and after you have finished leave the windows open for a few hours and this will get rid of 90% of the smell

yeah its not like smoking a cigarette, just smoke and blow it out the window then leave the window open with a fan on in the room for ten minutes. or blow your money on the ionic breeze or xerosmoke thing.

I had it rigged when I worked for a hotel that had staff accomadations. for smokin' herb indoors I made a spoof and a fazer.

the spoof (I hate that name but thats how it was introduced to me) is just a gatorade bottle full of bounce sheets. the bottom is cut off the bottle or holes are poked in it then you fill 'er up!! the sheets are left far enough away from the mouth of the bottle so that they don't touch your lips when you blow into it. then you just blaze up a bowl (making sure to damp it with your lighter to eliminate side stream) and blow the smoke through the spoof making sure to force it all through the sheets. it will come out the other end smelling like clean laundry this coupled with a little spray air freshner will do the job!!
If you've got to smoke a joint instead of the bowl (and sometimes you just gotta) then try a fazer. these are a little harder to make and are not that reusable (ie. 3-5 times). have a pen with all the inards taken out and ready to go then take the cap to a 2L pop bottle and hold it to a lighter so that the flame is right in the middle. when a hole starts to form jab the pen case through and wait till it cools. take the 2L pop bottle and put a small hole in the side like a choke. roll up a doob and make sure it can fit in the end of the empty pen. light er up and screw the cap carefully back onto the bottle. now smoke that baby through the pen will hittin the choke and blow the smoke out through your trusty spoof. the idea is that all the side stream from the joint just gets trapped in the bottle and is saved for who ever finishes the joint (although this is more like punishment since the bottle smoke uaually taste pretty bad)

there you have it, thats how I got away with smokin chron all winter in my room. I even had security show up 15 minutes after I blazed and spoofed and they didn't have a clue!!
if your just smokin cigarettes get a purifier or cut back and then go outside to smoke when you need to. If your a die hard smoker maybe you should of considered an appartment that lets yopu smoke.
