    New Grower

Yeah I managed to hook up the first fan, i'm really fucking proud of myself. Duno about using a lighter to melt the plastic, it starts smoking and bubbling so you can't do shit with it. Cut out the bit that I melted and cut the red and black wire with enough left for future attachment to the plug end. Stripped the wire so it could wrap around the v12 adapter one or two times.Left the yellow wire holding the plug end. Also instead of cutting the head off the 12v adapter I made the insertion slightly further down and wrapped the fan wires around it accordingly. So basically I can re-use them both. Had some red electircal wire handy and it works like a charm. Duno what to use as a ballast when I chain three together, wood or metal... will try and improvise some more.

Also the adapter was a pain in the ass to get hold of for some reason. Had to go to about 5 stores before I got the right one. You can get 500mA 1000mA 1500mA i'd imagine the more mA the more you can run off it. Got the 1500mA so the speed isn't compromised with three fans feeding off it. Cheap to buy and its got a shit load of different voltage settings on the back. Pretty handy.
