Chronic Boom, look up grafting techniques for peyote and the perekiopsis http://www.herbalistics.com.au/shop/...ec0c8d9a47b2a0. It's a much more fast growing plant, that doesn't really look like cactus, but it is (succulent), and a place I used to get my peyote from used to do this technique with there seedlings, and the plants would mature within 3/4 years (diameter of at least 3.5 cm), which is about the same length of time you would have to wait for a peruvian or pedro from seed to mature, also you can graft it on to Trichocereus (the genus of peruvian, pedro and bridgesii), but will take longer than the pereskiopsis.

The peyote I got was potent as fuck too, and the reason it takes 10-15 years is due to how long it takes the root to establish itself, if uve ever seen a peyote plant before, there's a tiny head at the top, and underground a fuckin fat carrot like root, which will be about 2-3 times the size of the cactus, the flesh, will grow at about the same rate as any other, but the root takes a long long time to grow, because of how strong it is, plus if you do keep the cacti to grow from seed, when you harvest, take only the green flesh, and leave the root (spray the open cut, with fungicide or it will die) and within a year, u have basically the same size of peyote u had before, so it'll take 15 years for one of em to grow mature, then after that u can harvest every year/other year dependin on ure grow conditions. They are resilient as fuck aswell, I can't see how some1 can kill a cactus, other than overwatering, and that's when usually first time growers panic, and try and treat it like any other household plant, the only time special attention is required, is the first 6 months to a year (and this is pretty much checking for sunburn, which requires you to just move them in to a shady place until the discolouring fades sufficiently), don't overwater, check for bugs (webs over the plant) and while they are seedlings, use a muslin cloth perched just above the cactus for diffused lighting since the sun is to strong for seedlings, get sum chestnut compound (fungicide) to prevent damping off, I had at least 15 from 20 seeds sprout, within a week I had 6 cuz of damping off, basically cuz I didn't know what the fuck was happenin, after that, the trick is to be lazy and let it get on with it

If you know all that already, u really shouldn't of wasted ure time reading it man
