What about bisexuals? Are they in the clear? What if a gay guy decides to bone a chick now and then to get on God's good side?theres a difference between the waste your talking about and the waste im talking about

[QUOTE=Oneironaut]You're the one who said wasting sperm is wrong. Are you now saying that wasting sperm can be okay?
Sure there is. You can change your mind!Once again your taking it too literal, sperm/egg will never be used the way it was meant to be used with homosexuals...ill get to that AI shit in a second
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_inseminationMy mind is made, homosexuality goes against nature, i believe its wrong and i really dont think you should put so much weight on the "they were born that way" idea
Why is it not right? Because the Bible says it's not right? If that's the case, then why do you reject the part where it tells you to stone them? If not because of the Bible, then why not just accept queer people for the way they were born?So basically a female is being injected with sperm......If you were truely homosexual would you do this???? Any homos wanna chime in this?? This might apply for females but not for males, besides its another males sperm its not like its the lesbians partners sperm.....but i get what your saying they are still rasing the child....
I know that. I'm just saying, if you are a Christian and you believe in the Bible, then you can't pick and choose which parts you like. If you believe in the Bible, you believe gays should be stoned and wives should submit to their husbands. If you don't believe those things, you are admitting that the Bible is not reliable, and if it's not a reliable text, then why accept all the fanciful claims of talking snakes, worldwide floods, virgin births, walking on water, curing lepers, an invisible dictator of the universe, etc.?Dont jump to conclusions because youll fall straight on your face. I truely believe that its against nature....do you see animals that are homosexual??? So its something that just evolved??? I dont believe that they are born that way and there is absolutely no way to prove it so dont go there. I honestly could give a fuck but for the sake of argument ill argue it all day. Its wrong, it goes against nature, it goes against the way your body works....
If you were a christian who says you couldnt pick or choose parts??? I think its very ignorant to say that if you believe in the bible then you believe gays should be stones etc etc. Since you are so educated in biblical scripture would you care to explain the difference between the old testament and new testament and how they were written, when, and why there is such a large difference in the material??? Ive read most of the bible and to me its just a guideline on how to live, take what you can and leave the rest. The stories are metaphors and like i said you take things way too literal just for the sake of argument, which is quite annoying.

Ill have to admit my arguments are weak but IMO the argument that homosexuals are born that way or that people should be able to do whatever they want is as well weak. I wouldnt dare compare the right of homosexuals to the right of cannabis users...shame on you! Overall id have to say that i could really give a fuck on any given day but IN MY OPINION its wrong and IN MY OPINION is where it will stay. I would never vote for gay marriage rights nor would i ever fight for or defend a homosexual....end of story

I'm not religious at all but I couldn't smoke in church
I don't really know why it would just feel so wrong :stoned:
I really want to go to a gospel church they always look like they are on some really good drugs with their singing and clapping.I find our churches a little boring and depressing.

So what? Who cares if they don't reproduce? Is it your business? Is it anybody's business but the people involved whether or not they want to have children?

How seriously have you studied the scientific link between genetics and sexual orientation? Homosexuality is one of those wishy-washy areas of psychology where it doesn't appear to be entirely nature or nurture, but probably a combination of both. The point is, if there is some biological component to this, why should people be punished for that? Sexual orientation seems to be set by the time one reaches adolescence, and there is no real empirical evidence that it can be changed after that, even through therapy.i believe its wrong and i really dont think you should put so much weight on the "they were born that way" idea
Well, my point is it's not impossible for homosexuals to have children if they so choose. And fortunately, in many places gays are even winning the right to adopt children as well.So basically a female is being injected with sperm......If you were truely homosexual would you do this???? Any homos wanna chime in this?? This might apply for females but not for males, besides its another males sperm its not like its the lesbians partners sperm.....but i get what your saying they are still rasing the child....
Yes!!!Dont jump to conclusions because youll fall straight on your face. I truely believe that its against nature....do you see animals that are homosexual???
The precise reason for homosexual behavior in the natural world is, as you may expect, hotly contested. However, it's there and there's no denying it.So its something that just evolved???
So you're basically saying there's no way to disprove your idea, that is to say your idea is non-falsifiable, i.e. unscientific.I dont believe that they are born that way and there is absolutely no way to prove it so dont go there.
What are you talking about? Homosexuals' bodies work just fine.I honestly could give a fuck but for the sake of argument ill argue it all day. Its wrong, it goes against nature, it goes against the way your body works....
I don't follow. If you are going to admit that the Bible is incorrect in some things, how can you just assume it's correct in other parts when it makes outrageous claims without backing them up with evidence? How can you trust anything in it if there is so much brutal, immoral bullshit? How can you turn to it for moral answers if it tells you to love your neighbor on one page and on another it says to stone him to death if he works on the Sabbath? If you were a christian who says you couldnt pick or choose parts??? I think its very ignorant to say that if you believe in the bible then you believe gays should be stones etc etc.
Sure, there are some good moral stories like in any ancient mythology, but a lot of the stories are really horrible metaphors! They often promote things like slavery, incest, genocide, sexism, punishing people for the sins of their ancestors, etc. etc. etc.Since you are so educated in biblical scripture would you care to explain the difference between the old testament and new testament and how they were written, when, and why there is such a large difference in the material??? Ive read most of the bible and to me its just a guideline on how to live, take what you can and leave the rest. The stories are metaphors and like i said you take things way too literal just for the sake of argument, which is quite annoying.
Jesus had horrible bits of advice, such as telling slaves to bow down to tyrannical slave-owners instead of fighting for their freedom (1 Peter 2:18), telling wives to submit to their husbands in all affairs (Ephesians 5:22-24), promoting racist stereotypes (Titus 1:10-13), etc. I would recommend reading Emma Goldman's The Failure of Christianity for more on the flaws and absurdities in Christ's teachings.

I have the same opinion as you on homosexuality...and I don't think you should be flamed for your belief..its like saying if you don't SUPPORT their way of life then you must hate them..I don't think so! Everyone should respect anyones beliefs as long as there is no physical harm going on..I have been through this before on this board...had to do with that movie bareback mountain..Flame me now because I believe that is a major problem now..men wanting to be women and women wanting to be men...no one knows their place anymore..and yes I believe a woman belongs at home...to keep the home going and together..thats MY belief.

PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT SO LONG AS THEY DON'T HARM ANOTHER PERSON! That is the definition of freedom, and I see no reason why society should tolerate anything less.

Dude Oneironaut, cry harder buddy. What, are you a homosexual or something? You just wasted a good 20 minutes of your life or more searching for a huge ass list of facts and arguements against what this idiot is saying. Why do people go to such great lengths to try and convince a total stranger that they're wrong? Here's an idea, both of you shut the hell up and smoke some weed and stop arguing about something so ridiculous. People have different opinions, GET OVER IT.

No, but that's no reason why I should let queer-haters spurt out nonsense without a proper rebuttal.
