Funny you made this thread, I've had the same exact problem for the last two weeks or so. I'm trying to run everyday (although it's more like a couple times a week) and it helps a lot. I guess any type of cardio would be beneficial since it's making your heart work harder. I'm also taking a break from smoking this week so my chest pains are almost completely gone. You should be fine, just try exercising, and perhaps smoking less frequently. But if it's really that bothersome, see a doctor.

It's a tightening-type feeling, but very uncomfortable and can make breathing a little harder, even though it usually just lasts a minute and occurs random times throughout the day. It almost feels like my heart is racing, but when I check the pulse it's a normal speed. Does anyone else get a feeling like this? I used to get it a lot when I was younger (before ever smoking), but it seemed to stop around when I was 10 or 11. Now it Rating: 5
