Hello,

mrpibb1988 - Here is my method for germing seeds.

â?¢ place desired amount of seed into a glass of distilled water

â?¢ allow to soak until they sink - this could take up to 24 hours.

â?¢ take seeds place between the layers of a damp paper towel, not wet.

â?¢ place paper towel into a ziplock baggie, blow into the bag, and seal it, trapping the air into the bag.

â?¢ place the baggie in the center of a magazine, usually a centerfold bud shot for inspiration...lol

â?¢ I then place the mag onto the ballast of my hps light.

â?¢ after twelve hours I open the baggie and refill it with air, seal it, and put it back.

â?¢ after another twelve hours I check the seeds, at this point most of them are usually cracked, showing signs of their tap root.

â?¢ for those that are not yet cracked I put them back and check in on them once every 6-12 hours until they have all popped.

â?¢ this method may be to involved for some, or not enough for others, but it works consistently for me, giving close to a 100% germ rate. If a seed does not germ using this method I think it is because the seed is a dud, not that it was germed improperly.

Hope this helps.

Peace
