I do believe that in the state of Illinois it is legal to bring cops and/or police dogs in to search. As suhl said above, at our high school they brought us into the gym while the dogs were sniffing out cars and lockers. Tadaa, don't be so quick to spout off some hasty remark douche. It was during my 5th period class when I was out to P.E. when my school advisorer searched my back pack wich I had left outside while we went on a run.
