Need help, caught at school...
Tadaa- the school takes over as a temporary parent when ur in it. There have been a couple supreme court cases involving a search and seasure without the consent of a girl that they searched. They searched her purse by the way...the court ruled in favor of the school.
Look at the cases and what a law enforcement officer says...he may not know all the laws but he knows enough about hte rules to tell u the truth.
And not every cop is a fucking asshole to you...if ur nice to a school one or just go up and actually TALK to a cop and be polite he will pretty much tell u anything u need to know. But if u dont believe anyone else but what u think actually go look at some of the supreme court cases related to this subject...the school can search who ever and what ever they want as long as its on there property.

Although TADAA is being a bit of an asshole about it he has a valid point. Talk to a lawyer. They won't charge you anything if you call the lawyer up and talk to them. Tell them what happened and everything even if you did something you shouldn't have tell them. There may have been something that was done that could ruin they're case against you. It's free you have nothing to lose.
But Fabolous does have a point schools can do pretty much anythign they want. It's fucked up but there's not much you can do about it.
Captain Hanky there is more to the story I am almost 100% sure of it. Teachers just don't search a bookbag at random with no reason. It must have smelled like weed or someone must have told her.

*New Jersey v T.L.O. (1984)
Two students were found smoking in the girls bathroom. One student confessed but the other, T.L.O. (her initials), denied smoking. In fact, T.L.O. claimed she did not smoke at all. The school Assistant Principal then proceeded to search T.L.O.'s purse. In the purse he found Marijuana in small bags, rolling paper, a large amount of cash and a list of names who owed T.L.O. money. The police were summoned and T.L.O. was arrested. T.L.O. was convicted and through the appeals process the case eventually went to the Supreme Court. T.L.O. claimed that the search of her purse violated her Constitutional rights.
The Court ruled against T.L.O. setting new standards for school officials. The Court ruled that school officials may search a student under "reasonable suspicion." The standard is less than that required of police therefore giving school officials much broader search powers under the fourth amendment.

that's how it all starts,(with me it did) Rumors where going around because i had the best shit in a rich ass school full of beginner pot heads (so i could say it was Above Mid's but really swagg) and well sooner then you know you got teachers over hearing kids and taken you into there office
lucky for me i had a great spot to hid my shit, my gym locker
but yea it's always great thing to not go around telling people they you may have just made friends with, and not 100% sure he isn't gonna tell other people that you smoke.

I hardly think any respectable school will try and "blindly" take advantage of students. There would have been tons of complaints if the school was unfairly doing something like searching their own property. They make it extremely clear in the handbook what the law is, and what happens if one breaks it. Calling a lawyer is good, yes, but not to try and fight a losing cause. Give it up and quit using that as your argument.

To stay in school, you may have to swollow your pride big time and volunteer to do some kind of rehab.
You have to be upfront about what has happened.
Don't even try to go the route of "I was holding it for somebody" "it's not mine" etc....etc....
It's really up to you how important your education is.
You can be well off in a nice house, able to vacation one day OR you can end up in a rooming house scraping up enough $$ for oodles of noodles.
your choice.

i doubt the court has ruled inn favor of the kids many times, i doubt its gone to court many times, im assuming the parents are normally pissed off at the kid about it and unless they were aware it was going on they wouldnt get you a lawyer and wouldnt let you take it to court
