    Lighting for Clones?

I was just wondering if you can use too much lighting for clones.
What is the ideal light or lights for cloning? I have some of those coil flouresent lights.. 150W and 200W. Are those good lights to use?? 18/6, right?
Kinda low on $$ but have 2 female plants, both grown under the flouresents listed above w/an additional couple flouresent tubes.. They each have from an 1/8 to a 1/4 on them. They are over 3 months old, still budding. Yeah, I know I should use HPS or MH but, not enough $$ lately. I grow outdoors.. just experimenting inside during winter w/out jacking up the electric bill!!
Any fucking way, could somebody please help.
    Thank you for any info.

You should be able to use any light. Normally cannabis plants can never get anough light.

It is not recomment to use strong light for clones, because they have not develop root system. So you can start with fluorcent or similar light when the clone has develop roots can you use MH or HPS.

I use a a 30w(6500k) snowcone/twister cfl for my clones. This is for four clones in a dome.

    Hi Yes,

Another reason why you dont want to use a strong light..

They usually give off a lot of heat and can dry your clones out..

A simple 150watt CFL can be used on an entire tray of clones (50)
    very effectivley

    AND NOW YOU KNOWM

If you only have one light keep the clones on the edge the light spectrum and keep the humidity high or cover the clones and keep the misted.

    Rodekyll,
The plants I want to clone are over 3 months old and budding.. Not clones.
