I dunno man...try it a couple more times and see if you get the same effects. Was it your first time smoking out of a bong? I have a friend who gets fuckin weird when she smokes...paranoia like MAD. and then she always claims she sees scarry shit, like people with knives? I'm pretty sure she's got something wrong with her. Some people just shouldn't be smoking weed...so try it a few more times, and if that shit keeps happening i wouldn't do it anymore.

It was definitely weed. My girlfriend and friends from uni have all had the same stuff and nothing unusual happened. I got it from a friend's regular dealer, not some randomer.

This is starting to worry me a bit! I was hoping someone would say that weird stuff like that happens sometimes.

was there any possible way the weed was maybe a bit moldy, or appeared to have been laced with another substance? I can understand the possibility that maybe you had some pre-existing condition which would make you act in such an extreme fashion, but if it was JUST WEED and no other substances, that would be your answer. Otherwise, it sounds like there was more than initially met the eye. Weed does not induce extreme fear, defensive (borderline aggressive) behavior, extreme confusion, hyperactivity, and visual hallucinations (especially lasting 3-4 hours). That batch sounds real sketchy to me.

yeah, salvia does not last that long, its usually about 10-15 minutes unless you keep ripping it, at 20x extract

I've experienced things like those but to a lesser extent. You probably just got really stoned.
