Think about it, a plane lands and takes off again in what, 60-90 minutes? Do you know how many people it would take to go over every square inch of the plane in that much time? It would look like a bunch of ants swarming over a piece of food that fell on the ground. I'm sure there is a list of things they check out every time and other things they check out at various intervals. Something like a crack in the windsheild must be pretty rare so they may get the full going over once every 500hrs of flying time or something like that. Just hope your not on the plane on the 499th hr
