I'm not an authority on this, but I have always been told, in emergencies like yours, to use a pesticide that is made for edible vegetables ... reading the label will tell you exactly how long it takes for the poisons to break down into harmless base chemicals ... safe to eat, 'hopefully' safe to smoke ... if youre harvesting in a week, anyway, you may just let the flies have their fun, and harvest what they leave ........ :smokin:
