no, that is incorrect. eat a gram of hash as my proof...and you'll lose at least a day out of your life. heat is not needed...there is no "activation" required, it's another myth. eating raw bud WILL mess you up just as well, if not better as cooked...it'll just play hell on your stomach lining as it works it down to a paste.

YES you can eat bud and hash and whatever.. really you can eat just about anything and have it worked into your bloodstream at least a little bit.

But realistically, is eating a gram of hash worth it? i mean, unless you break it up to give it more surface area..a ball or compacted piece of hash would be passed through well before you got all of the active "fun" out of it. Bud is different.. YES you can eat it.. but like you said, it's hell on your stomach lining and just the mear act of eating something that you're used to smoking normally will fuck you up...So go ahead and eat pot if you think it'll get you nice and ripped...or you could consume 1/4 of it by smoking it and get just as equally stoned not to mention a lot faster.

Personally...the only cannabis that's worth eating is cannabis that's been "made into something" either cannabutter or some sort of baked good will do fine for me...followed with a nice joint

Eating raw cannabis , no matter how good it is, wont get you stoned without using another ingredient to make it release its psychoactive properties. Oil, butter, milk, etc etc. Take a gram, soak it in olive oil, and put in in a oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. Ot saut'e it in butter and use butter on toast. You will fly.

from what i know, you have to cook it or heat it to release the thc, but... Del said it doesn't have to be heated or anything to release the psychoactive properties... i was just telling him that i've ate raw bud before and it did nothing to me (meaning i still believe those properties have to be released some way)

If I ever eat any Hash recipie or cannabutter based concoction.....I never smoke a joint until the eaten stuff has come on fully........I find it hard to notice the "eating" buzz come on if i smoke...Its far subtle than the smoking eating but its just as powerfull

In the 1960's-70's we could buy a hit of THC for 1.00$ , or 100 hits for 35-40$. very very good. However, i havent seen tab form of THC around since.

ive seen the capsul kits to make your own thc pills. if it looks homeade it might be. its just the trichomes stuffed into a capsul, but i suppose there might be a process to activating the thc.
