    I prefer to sit back, drink some Jack Daniels, smoke a joint, kick my feet up, and relax...

    Fly fishing is simply too much work, lol!

    Yeah, it's more of the hobby side of the sport of fishing, kind of like reef aquariums are the hobby side of fish keeping. I do both, and enjoy both.

    Hmmmm the sun shining here.....but theres a haze to stop it getting to warm.......hm the fuckers should be up feeding at sunset..hm doobie and a hours fishing with the sunset turning red on the water hmmmmmmm

    no it cant be, because fish barley move/swim in winter because its so cold and theres not as much food, the best time to fish for bass in right after dawn or just before dusk in the summer on a clear day, unless it's really hot in which case they stay in deep water and don't move much

    Yeh im in scotland though

    Diff fish.....i was thinking of live baiting pike....they eat anytime theyre voracious.

    Anyway..obviousley the fish in the clyde are too fucked up to know when there meant to eat cos i can catch em on days like this...why dont you tell them they shouldnt be eating LOL

    And I never said more or big, and i also didn't say they don't eat, and summer time is the best time to fish for bass of any size because bass are aggressive fish that attack on instinct, even when not hungry, and because the water is warmer they are more active and find more food and have more energy to chase/eat/want more... winter time is the exact opposite, they only eat when they need to, and they don't move much. Oh and BTW I guarantee I know much more than you do about fish, and fishing.
