What keeps you alive?

Where's your feeling of purpose come from if you have one? What makes this existance more then a tedious wake up, live, fall asleep, repeat, for you?

Beautiful wife to come home to? A job you feel will better the world somehow? Pursuit of something better? The way music makes you feel when you get out of the shower? Popularity? Romance? Knowledge? Family? Moneys? (the sims 2?)

I'm curious to hear some good answers.

For me its trying to make life as interesting as possible while still considering others. I'm not a hedonist or anything, but I want to keep myself interested. Deep thoughts, intense music, finding something worthwhile. That sorta thing.

I wake up because I am curious as to what the day holds... Just think back on your life and all the crazy, sad, happy, funny, insane moments. I really want to see somthing happen that changes the world and human kind forever, like another Hurricane to hit new orleans(or whatevers left)...I mean is that what needs to happen for people to get the point that living under sea level right on the hurricane prone gulf of mexico is a bad idea. Where has common sense gone?

Id have to say curiosity of seeing what happens to america and humanity in general. If an apocalypse doesnt happen in my generation then i will lose my faith and most likely commit suicide soon after.....?....?
