"Little children" are ignorant. This should not be the goal of intelligent, adult, rational, human beings.

What this phrase from the bible, "become like little children", really means is blind obedience to authority. When you throw away your reason, and submit your mind to superstitious belief systems, you become a slave.

There is nothing wrong with an adult being "child-like" in some ways - such as curiosity, ability to learn new things, joy in living, etc. Religion demands that you forfeit the freedom of your mind, and often your rights, as well.

Freedom-loving people are not enslaved by religion and other life-destroying ideas.
