actually jesus walked the earth and has never been considered a god just like the Buddha was never considered a god. anything living on this earth can not be deified, however the Vikingā??s Odin, Hinduā??s Brahma, Romanā??s Jupiter, Egyptianā??s Amen-Ra, Greekā??s Zeus and Islamā??s Allah can, just like our God the father almighty. however all these gods have one thing in common and that is they dont exist in the traditional sense. However they could be applied to planets and the sun, for example Jesus was considered the son of man (or the son of God, son of Earth) and all of his teachings and healings involved gods greates gift, cannabis... also many buddhist traditions, writings, and beliefs indicate that Siddhartha (the Buddha) used and ate nothing but hemp and its seeds for six years prior to announcing his truths and becoming the Buddha. So really all these different religions and beliefs have a lot in common, and if you can picture the earth or any other planetary body as a living organism (which they are) that is able to produce life suitable for that enviornment by the use of the sun, the gods that ancient civilizations worshipped could be the entities or the souls of these organisms...
