PyroSol Usage
I will begin using PyroSol on my next feeding in soil...the directions on the product are very vague 3 TBLSP in 1 gallon of water for hydro added to a 10 gallon reservoir, for soil it just says to irrigate soil or foliar feed, but doesn't say anything about further dilution from the 1 gallon mixture. Is this to much? It seems that the solution in hydro will be diluted in a 10 gallon reservoir, am I supposed to dilute the gallon formula into 10 gallons before irrigating the soil? Also how often? Should I re-administer after every leaching? My flowers already look fantastic after 10 days, I would hate to ruin that! Many Thanks and Respect.

silicon is a very underated additive,i dont know why,use the one gallon mixture to water once a week, just apply as if you were watering them,i wouldn't use as a foliar when they are flowering....bonbon

Thanx Bonbon, you were the one to suggest this product to me, I am excited to see the outcome! Maybe one more question for you... I purchased Botanicare Hydroguard Bio-fungicide water treatment and I am wondering if I can use this as a prevention fungicidal spray as well during flowering? The only directions are for soil or hydro application at a rate of 1-3 tsp per gallon, I already used it at the 1 tsp level as a spray 2 weeks ago when only a few preflowers were showing with no ill effects, just didn't want to damage all the new growth I am seeing. Thank You for your replies.

first i must tell you that i never used a fungicide, temp and humidity aren't a problem for myself because of the air conditioning that i use,but if it may be a problem for you ,i would use it,not as a foliar, only directly in the soil, just as a prevenitive measure....bonbon

I use a dehumidifyer and air conditioning temp at canopy 78, room at 75 and I keep the humidity between 30 to 40%, this obviously jumps up a bit to 48% at the most right after watering. The only reason I considered using a fungicidal spray is the recommendation of a book, suggesting that even with low humidity buds retain and lock in moisture and are at risk for fungal infections and that preventative measures should be taken. I am assuming that spraying the buds directly is more of an asset than treating the soil, but this is very unfamiliar territory for me. So far this feeding I am using 1/4 tsp epson, pyrosol and Botanicare Pureblend Pro Bloom 1 oz. I am hesitant to use another product for this feeding and will wait to use the fungicide treatment till next watering. Hopefully with some more responses! Another quick question....I am due to leach soil on the next watering, is it possible to feed after leaching the soil or should it rest with just ph balanced water until the next feeding? The reason I ask is that my plants are crying out for phosphorus and potassium but I hate to over do it on this feeding due to the need to leach the soils.

from what you describe it sounds like they're using up most of the nutrient,I would just water until the next feeding, your rH is fine,it would be unlikely for pathogens to develop, but in my opinion spraying bud with anykind of water base is risky,as long as the air is moving freely the the chance of devoloping fungus is very minimal....bonbon
