good ph test strips

I found a source for ph test strips from Gallade chemical, www.galladechem.com.
I got 100 for $20. These test strips test 4.0-7.0. The problem with the pool test stips is the ph doesn't test low enough. I ran a test to see how accurate they are compared to a ph meter. The ph meter ran a tad bit higher. + .2 difference. I think it's close enough. I need to find my buffer tablets, so I can calibrate my meter too.

Your meter takes into account the temperature and corrects the reading Ph strips don't mesure the temperature. What is the swing or error factor in Ph strips? Most of them are about a full point plus or minus. There is a big difference between 4.2 & 5.2 in Ph one is ok the other is not but paper can't tell you that difference that close.
