Thats my point. Talking shit about others beliefs gets you nowhere, just makes you look like a twat. That's not saying i agree with these religions, i just think they have as much as a right to an opinion as me, and i'm not gonna put them down for it..

I'm not sure exactly how that quote goes, but its something like that. In other words, because I dont believe than religion is totally false, but for people that do believe, it is completely %100 right. Theres no one in between that can decide whos right or wrong, because everyone has beliefs and opinions. So, if no one is impartial enough to decide whos right or wrong, and if neither side has any proof of what theyre saying, then why argue? Why not just agree to disagree and leave it at that?

For example, sorry to use these faiths, but they are the most obvious.

Ah! thats where i'm at a loss... it'sn ot good enough, like you said, just to respect each others beliefs and leave it at that, when people are actively trying to recruit people to their religions, because this will always cause trouble.. but, what im saying (and i know i'll get shit for saying this) is that instead of having organized religions like we do today, we should believe whatever the fuck we wanna believe.. i understand if people have faith in god or gods, but why do people let themselves be told how to live their lives by people who have given themselves the power to do so? thats what i dont understand.. i'll probably never understand it, and it'll probably never change... but i can try, right?

i can listen to people explaining why they believe what they believe, and i accept it as their opinions.. but i get pissed off when, like Mole said, people try to impose their beliefs on you.. they give me shit for not believin in god and for not havin a religion, like im gonna go to hell for sinning.. i try and explain that "YOU believe im gonna go to hell, but i DONT believe that, so what ur sayin doesnt make a difference to me" but they carry on and on, tellin me im wrong and gonna go to hell for my beliefs.. thats the kind of shit that pisses me off, thats the kind of shit people need to stop

I dont have such a problem with people who believe in a religion, but i frown much upon the churches them-selves, and the leaders of the religion. I find that christianity actually brainwashes members, I have a sister who never believed in it, went to a few of these "Christian youth clubs" and came back obbsessed with praying and constantly talking about "jesus". I have found books aimed at infants that automaticaly impose the fact that god exists on the child, without even questioning the possibility that god DOESN'T exist. It puts the child in the same position as in a classroom learning science, they cant question it, becuase they are been told that it is real. I think people should be of a certain age beforen they join a religion. LOL haha, now that sounds piggish. O well,
