The Bible is true. It is evidential. And it cannot be forced on anyone. You get to believe what you want and make choices based on your beliefs. I am simply stating my beliefs. Has it ever struck any of you as odd that Christians, the Bible, and the God of the Bible catch nearly all of the insults in this forum? I haven't read of attacks on other religions here. Yet there is a consistent animosity toward christians and their faith here. Atleast be honest with yourselves about the source of your bias. God will wait, and if you still choose otherwise. That's on you, good luck with that.

The bible is in NO way evidential.. its as evidential as the Harry Potter series, or Romeo and Juliet.. its writing in a book, that cannt be proved, so is by no means evidential.. until i see some evidence, i'll stick to harry potter lol

Ghost, your message is important not just here, but around the world. I think the main problem is that people aren't happy just to have faith, they have to feel that they are RIGHT, and the only way to prove that is to make everyone agree with you. I think it's a bit silly to think that one path can be right for all the people of the world, and even sillier to think that we can even BE right about something as profound as our life and existence. If we could just read one book that answered all life's questions, what would be the point? I think life would be more fruitful if we learn what works best for us, and helps those around us, and I really think you're right- it all starts with tolerance. I mean, how can we discover a new opinion if we don't even consider it.
Good post, hope people actually think about what you said instead of just ways to disagree.

Right wrong right wrong. I agree when you know everything there is to know then your right but there are things that dont even exists yet to be right about so how can you say your right about anything. I say live and let live and that all we can do for the better.

I dont think the bible is in anyway evidential. Its been passed down for thousands of years, translated countless times, and im sure misinterpreted or intentionally altered to an enormous extent. Its just a story book, and although some of the stories in it teach us things about life, it shouldnt be taken literally. Thats the way religious wars are started
