Vegging
how long do you typically veg for? I think it's been about 16 days of 24/0, the first couple of days were 18/6 until I was told to go full 24. She is getting bigger, but still tiny, probably 6" across and 6" tall. There are already quite a few sets of leaves, but they are all very small.
It's only using CFLs but there is a shit ton of them in there, and the entire cabinet is coated with shiney stuffs. I'll post pics at lunch.ValiumForMe Reviewed by ValiumForMe on . Got fresh air coming in?
Lack of fresh air stunned my plants' growth... as soon as I supplied fresh air, they jumped.
Other than that, I think it's a "exponential" growing... the bigger they get, the faster they grow, the bigger they get,...

There is a 12" x 2" hole in the back of the cabinet towards the top, there is a fan in there that is circulating air upwards, so hot air goes out the hole.
I'm also doing some ghetto CO2 enrichment with eggshells and vinegar in a bottle with a tube feeding into the fan.
I'll show pics of the setup later. I'm just curious how long (weeks, months days) people typically veg for. and what the growth rate is once flowering begins.
Cabinet is 26" x 26" x 16" with only one plant and four CFLS totaling 220 watts. One of the CFLs is like 6200k 40 watt and the rest are 60 watt I don't know what K they are but they are bright ass yellow.

Hmm... well, plants, they usually veg, depending on height-restrictions.
If the plant gets too tall in vegging, it will be huge in flowering.
So, it depends on your space.
Clones, I know clones are typically vegged for 3-4 weeks... some people veg for even longer 6-8 weeks.
Why? Well, during vegetative, the plant is growing the "factory floor" for producing buds... so, the bigger and the better the factory, the more buds it will be able to produce.
A clone vegged for 1 week, then put into 12/12 WILL flower and produce buds, but... how much?
As oppossed to a clone vegged for 6 weeks, then 12/12.
Am I helping in any way? Or just confusing the subject?
Best to you,

You've helped profoundly.
I'm growing one plant for personal use just to experiment. it was a mere bagseed.

turn off your fan when using co2
you should flower at abot 10 or 12 inches.
