The joint was probably rolled loosely, the weed probably was not even (can cause the loose side with no weed on it to burn faster and thats what causes it to burn a line in the joint). Try rolling a perfect, even one and you shouldnt have this problem. Also moisten the whole joint (extremely lightly) with your tounge before you light it next time.
orangeman Reviewed by orangeman on . joint burning Last night I was smoking a joint...the cherry (lit part) just got bigger and bigger, till it was about the size of the whole joint. The smoke was extremely hot and harsh. And sometimes when I light a joint the cherry will just crawl up one side of the joint...why does that happen? Did I light it wrong, roll it wrong, grind the weed up too much? Maybe it's because my stash is relatively dry right now... Incidentally I was disappointed and thought it hadn't worked too well and that I had Rating: 5
