You guys started to get into the religion, but now I want details.

What does the rastafarian movement/religion compose of? I just want to learn and expand my horizons a little more. Any one know good books to read on the subject?

I know that he is a higher being of some sort, but what religion is this? I am just interested in all the religions that my parents and schools have neglected to teach me about. I am basically looking to find something to guide me since I lost religion about 3 years ago (when I was 14).
