I believe the same thing friendowl. A couple members of a group of people whom I know but am not real good friends with got caught stealing $1000's of dollars worth of shit from some store in another county. Once they were faced with time, they ratted on everyone, even some of my friends (luckily my name didnt come up).

Many people are easily intimidated by cops. They know how to talk to you to get what they want, its almost like a science. Fact is, majority of the time, a person will snitch to get themselves out of trouble.

Now snitching on another person just to "get even" with them is a whole nother story...
