i love my grinder and always grind up my weed for smoking w/ anything, but it actually makes it stay cherried better, which is kind of annoying when i wanna take my time, so sometimes i put it out after a hit

I'm very lazy, I just break a few pieces off a nug and put it in the bowl.

I break off a semi-large piece of a nug and put that in the bottom of the bowl so no shake or smaller pieces gets pulled through, like Bob said. Then I just break up a nug into smaller pieces and put those on top of the larger one. Pack it tight, but not too tight or it won't burn well. I've never smoked outta an apple, so I can't help you with that. :rasta:

All ya gotta do is practice.. I'm still learning how to get my blunt rolling perfect.

i just toss some shake in there and keep it sorta tight. gets me blitzed! lol hey ive heard, on here in fact, that shake hits get you higher than nug/bud hits. is that true or what?

break up your bowl's amount of weed and take out the seeds and stems the pack it in there and smoke it. continue to keep packed throughout the session

Packing bowls is easy:

Put an anchor-man nuggalout at the bottom. This will keep shake from falling through.

Use a metal grinder with hash screen if possible. If not, use your fingers to grind up the nugs as best you can.

Starting right on top of that anchor-man nug, sprinkle the very finely ground up mary powder. Fill the bowl with this.

At the top, you want to slightly overflow the bowl with some of that hash dust your grinder saved for you. Sprinkle that very generously on top.

If you dont have a grinder, you can crush the nugs up in your fingers over a piece of aluminum foil, and use a razor to scrape the hash powder onto the top of the bowl.


Remember kids: The more finely it's ground up, the more surface area burning oxygen can reach, which means more of that glorious smoke will be released! :rasta:

o yes i have a grinder as well, but before i had that we just get a shot glass and small sharp fucking scissors and try to get as much trash (seed stem) oout of the bud first as possible adn just chop the shit up!

i geussing you guys are yanks........whats wrong with a steel gauze....thats what i use then put your shake in...but dont press in down....then smoke it all away before putting anymore in.....gets you a smoother smoke....which kinda does get you more fucked cause more burns instantly and consistantly.....

i use a screen in my bongs but in a pipe i prefer to just break it up a little bit and pack the pipe lightly so that it burns easier. uses less weed and tastes really good too because the bud isn't all pressed together and burned at the end.

Well, on a per hit or per bowl basis, yes, because you're fitting more weed in there and it's got a greater surface area. But overall you'd be smoking the same amount of THC to get to the same level of high.

It's like trying to fill a box with dishes. You can fit a lot more dishes in if you smash them up first.
