Suggestions for INDOOR growing

Any body have some good suggestgions for indoor growing? Im currently using:

for 4 plants. Is that enough? If I was to go with a sodium 1000watt HPS system. Dont they run hot? How do you keep it cool? Whats a good low temp hps light recomendation.

You only need a 400w. 1000w would be too much for 4 plants.

400 hps lights usualy puts out how many illumens?
