That makes sense. For someone like me with limited ground space its probally better to grow only a few plants so more light penetrates. If you don't have much room, craming the plants together like that is kinda deterimental. If you have less ground but alot of height its better to have as few plants as poss, if you have alot of ground space but little height then you can grow many more.. common sense really.

I only use this picture as an example cause I think a lot of people grow like this.... Here is a nice beginner set up.. Good lights... nice pots... nice healthy plants... nice reflective material.. nice attempt at adjuting the height of the plants to accomodate al the different plants... ALL of these great things..
