so, my mom called me at college last night and asked if i wanted to go and get something to eat. i said yes and then we proceeded to go to a restraunt and order. shortly after we order my mom asked me if i smoked weed. so, i just told her yes. then she asked me if i smoked everyday and i said...many times. then she laughed. next she asked how much we pay and i said "for shitty stuff about 75 an ounce...for real good stuff close to 350 and ounce" then she laughed at me and told me she used to get it for no more then 15 and ounce.
well, that went better then i expected

my parents don't drink or anything (my dad smokes cigs and i really think he smokes weed but i dont know for sure... found a bag and my friends pipe in his closet (although he might have taken it away and was hiding it to be thrown out or shown to my mom or something)) they think people should go through life dealing with their problems themselves instead of using drugs to deal with them... but i slammed that back and said i don't use marijuana to deal with my problems i use it because its FUN!

then they whipped out the "it's illegal and you could get that on your record" and that argument can be tough to overcome so i jus said "my networks and all of that are completely safe and reliable and i dont meet random people in random places for my shit a longtime friend sells to me" (which is true but the only time im in danger is the drive home really)

so it kind of ended in a stalemate, and i told them i wasn't going to stop. now every time the house smells "funny" my mom asks me if i was smoking, even when i havent smoked in the house for days (and she usually smiles when she asks it so they're becoming more and more accepting of it every time they run into it)

I feel the teasing me when high thing. God I fucking hate it. I'll be high, and my dad'll be all cool and just be normal, but my mom'll start being a bitch and get real touchy about things. Sometimes she even gives me chores to do while I'm high just to fuck with me :curse:
